Ed Traupman is the Vice President and General Manager of Telmar’s OEM-ExL (Extended Life) business unit. The OEM-ExL group is responsible for the manufacturing, R&D, and technical support for products Telmar has acquired from other OEMs. Mr. Traupman is also responsible for Telmar’s CTAC organization that provides 24/7 customer support for both Telmar-owned products as well as third party products.
Prior to joining Telmar, Mr. Traupman spent nearly 30 years in various segments of the telecommunications industry holding numerous technical and managerial positions at DSC Communications, Alcatel USA, and Rapid5 Networks including Principal Engineer, Sr. Director of Marketing/PLM, and Sr. Director of Technology and Support. Mr. Traupman joined Telmar in early 2007.
Mr. Traupman holds a B.S. degree in Mathematics and an M.S. degree in Computer Science from Southern Methodist University.
